Temptation Caribbean Cruise

With great excitement and a hint of nerves, we began our journey to Miami. With a team of over 30 people and countless kilos of luggage, we set off toward what would be our home for the next five days. 

Despite wind, a bit of rain, and a slight delay, we managed to load the tons of equipment that would outfit our new ship. The music began pumping in the terminal as our reservations team and Playmakers announced that boarding was about to start. At 12:30 p.m., a nervous Silvina—joined by an even more nervous “Me Mario”—called the first group to board. Right on schedule, we finished boarding over 2,000 passengers. 

DJ Encore opened the night after DJ Roland wrapped up our traditional sail-away party. With new production touches and lots of surprises, we started the game only Temptation Cruise can offer: a diversity never before seen in the industry, featuring more than 10 DJs, a special area for Latinos who danced to our Latin duo at the Latin Sunsets, our ever-popular Silent Disco (for those who wanted to chat and take a break from the crowds filling the pool deck), and our after-parties, which stretched later each night—or earlier, depending on how you see it.

Every day felt special; the atmosphere you experience on a Temptation Cruise is truly unique. Our workshops with sexperts were the most crowded in our history—over 12 fully booked sessions! The sea days went by in a flash because the party vibe never slowed down. The midday pool parties were the absolute highlight; our Playmakers never stopped dancing, and the new Talent & Games shows drew standing-room-only crowds in the theater. Our comedians put on two extra performances to accommodate everyone who wanted to attend, and we ended on a high note: the icing on the cake was Airotic, presenting a brand-new show that earned a long, enthusiastic standing ovation!

Uff, these amazing memories from the cruise will stay with me until November, when we’ll meet again on a new ship—fully confident that we’ll surpass this first Temptation Cruise aboard Norwegian Cruise.
